Summer's best decision: natural fabric
This week we're talking texture, not colour. The clearest direction in summer 2026 is a return to natural fibres: linen, cotton poplin, slub weaves. Fabrics that genuinely breathe in the heat, soften with every wash, and, most importantly, improve with age. The real question is how to wear them together.
Linen, without the creases
The most talked-about linen this summer isn't pure linen. It's the balanced blend. The Cleo suit's 55% linen, 45% rayon cloth keeps linen's natural texture while rayon's fluid drape removes that familiar crumpled look. The result is a suit that looks the same at seven in the evening as it did at nine in the morning, and breathes all day. Texture contrast
Against matte, open-weave linen, leather's smooth surface makes both read sharper. A linen top over a leather skirt works beautifully on summer evenings.
Cotton Knit + Linen
Layered
Soft knit underneath, structured linen on top. Made for air-conditioned offices, and the difference in volume balances the silhouette.
Slub Poplin + Denim
Timeless
Both are cotton: one light and irregularly textured, the other solid and heavier. Same fibre family, so colour takes care of itself.
One piece, two textures
The Jessy Maxi Waistcoat is cut from 100% cotton slub poplin. The irregular slub gives the cloth a handmade character. It's light enough to wear alone, like a dress, on summer evenings. For daytime, add denim underneath: same fibre, different weight, an outfit that never has to try.
